Remembering to Recharge

by Laura Massoni

I have been writing weekly newsletters for nearly five years now and I have to admit that this is one of those rare weeks when I wish that I didn’t have to do it…

…I shot a webinar this week for our private Facebook group. They consist of people who want to have more than a superficial knowledge of Italy. Most of them are attending one of our Educational trips to Italy this fall and they are currently taking our marketing program which teaches them how to monetize the experience they will gain on our fam trip.

For some reason producing this webinar made me exhausted.

I think part of my current state is because I was not getting the feedback or questions from them that I had expected to get from a group of people who are investing their time and money to learn more about Italy…

…but then I watched the last part of the video and realized that likely the tired, loopy look on my face probably induced some sort of student paralysis…you know, it’s where the students are afraid of asking questions of their teacher.

Anyway, once I saw myself on the video I realized that I am simply and purely tired. I need to go to bed earlier and realize that SUMMER is over! I had better get rested soon because this is one of the busiest times of the year for me, and for you too no doubt…it’s called FALL.

Here’s what I have to look forward to in the coming weeks. Next week I will be in Connecticut for my business group, then in October I’ll be in ITALY! The thought of that trip in itself has already given me a boost. Good thing too because when I get back from Italy we all will be immersed in building the foundation blocks for the new season…and then of course there are 2 family trips that I am so looking forward to…Disneyland and Thanksgiving in Mexico (my second favorite spot on earth).
