The Blog Roll See Italy Travel Blog

It may sound cheesy to say...

by Laura Massoni

Summer is over and the kids are back in school. Now is when Italians look forward to returning to their normal routines. I always love this time of year because my daily routine can finally include time for reflecting on the past and planning for the future. This exercise leaves me feeling energized and excited while planning future itineraries!

You may be thinking, “Laura, how can this relax you and energize you at the same time?”

Let me explain. For me, when recalling recent events, trips, itineraries, and feedback we receive from our clients I let myself feel the joy and love that is interwoven within each interaction and experience. I am not saying that everything in my life is always a bed of roses on a sunny day. Just like you, I have my fair share of setbacks and challenges, and we receive a negative comment in our client surveys from time to time.

The reality is that even though these end up being a tiny fraction of the total, I spend more time reflecting on them because although no one is flawless, at See Italy, we strive to provide a nearly perfect experience for our clients. Having someone identify an issue that detracted from their experience is actually a gift because it provides an opportunity for us to learn and improve our abilities while perfecting the See Italy Travel Experience that our clients receive!  THIS EXCITES me like you can’t imagine.

Yes, as cheesy as it sounds, We LOVE what we do. Really, we CARE about every one of our clients . We are PROUD knowing that give you unrivaled access to the authentic Italy -- one bite at a time.

This week during my reflective planning time I was thinking about putting a trip together for a joint venture partner I know. We already have a strong relationship and my challenge was to think of something that would improve on what we have already built together. Of course, the first thing that came to my mind was CHEESE! Obviously, it had to be food related, because, as you know, I am always thinking about food…and wine.
